<h1> = header text. Mostly used for titles.
<p> = paragraph text. Mostly used for everything else.

make sure at the end to either do </h1> or </p>!
this closes the statment.

examples

<h1>This is a title</h1>
<p>This is some paragraph under the title</p>

if you would like to have a gap between paragraphs does as follows
<p>This is the text for the first paragraph</p>
<p>This is the text for the second paragraph</p>

to center text using either <h1> or <p> do as follows
<h1 style="text-align: center;">This Title Will Be Centered</h1>
<p style="text-align: center;">This paragraph will be centered</p>
